After submitting your Event Planning Form, take advantage of the many features the events system offers. Get Involved can help you:
Promote Your Event
If your event is not only for members of your organization, promote it on the Get Involved site.
Accept RSVPs
You can set capacity limits and create waitlists. Let people RSVP so you can plan for the appropriate number of people. Those who RSVP will receive a confirmation email with an attachment they can use to quickly add the event to their calendar. You can create a custom registration form to accompany an RSVP. Currently, RSVPs require login with a TAMU NetID.
Check in Attendees
Get a record of each person that participates. You can scan university IDs, drivers licenses, enter UINs or email addresses, scan personal QR codes, and more. You can configure attendance tracking to best suit your needs. You can even offer self check-in and track accompanying guests. Pick the check-in methods that best fit your needs.
Report Attendance
Download a list of everyone who attended, including their contact information for follow up.
Analyze Your Audience
After your event, analyze the makeup of your audience with an instant demographic report. Who are you reaching? Who are you missing? The report can provide a breakdown of students, staff/faculty, community members, and more. This can help you evaluate and improve planning for your next event.
Discover Check-In Patterns
After your event, view the timing of when people were checked in with a time graph. Did you have the right number of gatekeepers to welcome attendees as they arrived before the program? Was there a surge just as the event began? The graphs can help you improve the experience at your next program.
